Reading groups meet throughout the year to study Scripture, share hospitality, and to read various books together.  New members are always welcome to join!

Reading Group – LENT 2024

Thursday 15 February at 5pm continues through to Maundy Thursday, 28 March at the same time each Thursday.

We will be using the Archbishop of Canterbury’s 2024 Lent book,

“Tarry Awhile: Wisdom from Black spirituality for people of faith”, by Selina Stone.

“To “tarry”, a word taken from the Authorised Version, means to linger in expectation, to abide.

It is a Black Pentecostal spiritual discipline to give time to wait on and with God, concern for those in need, and a spiritual care of oneself.” (Church Times 19 January 2024).
