Race Matters Reading Group

People around the world are reckoning with racial injustices of the past and present. At St Bene't's, we want to take a clear look at the forces and attitudes shaping our society and communities, and we want to recognise the contributions of Black people to our history and our faith. We also want to commit ourselves to tangible action in Cambridge. We are starting small, with a Race Matters conversation group, which will meet once monthly from Thursday, 30 July at 7:30pm. We will discuss David Olusoga's Black and British, which is available on BBC iPlayer, as an audiobook, or in print. If you're interested in coming, please email Anna Matthews at vicar@stbenetschurch.org.
