People around the world are reckoning with racial injustices of the past and present. At St Bene't's, we want to take a clear look at the forces and attitudes shaping our society and communities, and we want to recognise the contributions of Black people to our history and our faith. We also want to commit ourselves to tangible action in Cambridge. We are starting small, with a Race Matters conversation group, which will meet once monthly. In October, we will be looking at the work of the theologian Willie James Jennings. Listen to this podcast which introduces his work on Race and Christianity and read this article about whiteness, Christianity, and maturity in faith.
