Music

Music for Peace & Freedom

10 December at 12.30pm, join us for an inspiring lunchtime concert of classical melody and poetry performed by Laurence Perkins, in support of UK-MED and Music Action International.

Christmas Concert and Carol Singing

14 December at 2pm, listen to ReSound sing favourite songs of Love, Peace, Hope and Resilience in the church then go into the garden for carols and festive songs. all in support of WinterComfort.

Carolling in the Churchyard

22 December at 3.30pm, come sing familiar carols and enjoy hot drinks in the beautiful churchyard of St Bene’t’s Church, with musicians from Waterbeach Brass.

Taizé Blue Christmas

21 December is the shortest day of the year, and a good time to be together for a time of quiet prayer and Taizé music — especially for those of us who find the holidays a struggle.

Christmas Eve: Journey to Bethlehem

An All-Age Christmas Eve service, 4pm at St Bene’t’s

“Midnight Mass”

11.30pm on Christmas Eve, join us for the First Eucharist of the Feast of the Incarnation — also known as the Christmas Eve ‘Midnight Mass’

Christmas Day

Everyone is invited to our Christmas Day services of Holy Communion, at 8am (spoken, Traditional Language) and 10am (with carols, hymns, and children/youth groups)

Octave of Christmas

Our daily Eucharists continue after Christmas Day, especially during the ‘Octave of Christmas,’ the first 8 days of Christmas with a number of solemn Feasts. See our schedule at [link]

Epiphany Sunday

The 12 Days of Christmas conclude with a special 10am service on Epiphany Sunday, 5 January.
